REFRESHINGLY UN-BEIGE BRANDS AND SHOWIT WEBSITES
You're here for a brand that's unmistakably yours, and that pays for itself.
And it just so happens I build exactly that... for the coaches, consultants, therapists and online founders who are damn good at what they do.
AND YOU WILL NEVER FIND OUT IT HAPPENED.
She's deciding who LOOKS like they know what they're doing, and she'll make that call in about three seconds off nothing but a first glance.
(I say this with love, but us humans are a deeply judgemental species and books will always be judged by their covers.)
If her comparison game happened on a call, you'd win it hands down. She just never gets that far, because while you've been pouring into everyone else, your brand and your website keep sending somebody else entirely to the interview.
Right now, someone with a budget and a shortlist has you open in one tab and four flashier, bolder, "more profesh-looking" people open in the others.
Nobody emails to say you were second. She just books somebody else and you carry on with your day.
That right there is what we call a first-impression problem. Luckily for you, it's also the most fixable problem in your whole business.

You've seen it too, right?
The sameness?
No two brand ecosystems I've built look alike. On purpose.
The design industry is doing small business owners dirty, and it's exactly why your first impression keeps losing. Good people keep paying good money to come out with a brand or website that looks borrowed, and I've been at war with that ticky-tacky sameness for years.
Here's how things work around here. I pop on my figurative labcoat and slide you under my figurative microscope, and I investigate you, your people, everyone else in your space, what's working, what's not, and what definitely needs tossing in the hazardous waste bin. Then and only then do I start design.

The Website Build
Twice a month I clear the calendar for one founder and we spend two weeks building her whole website. Six pages, designed by hand in Showit. A thoughtfully planned, efficient fortnight, where all the hard thinking happens before design week starts. By the time we open, your job is to look at pages and say yes.
Most people come to The Website Build because their work is excellent and their website is quietly arguing otherwise. They're sending the Instagram instead of the link, explaining their own offers on every discovery call, and they've been meaning to sort it out since last year.
Best for:
Coaches, therapists, consultants and online service pros who've been in business for a few years.
You've got the client list, the results and the referrals, and you want to have your new website live in two weeks than five months.
What's Included:
A six page Showit website, designed by hand for desktop and mobile. Your homepage is a given, then you choose the other five.
The Conversion Copy Kit. It covers what to say in every single section of every single page, with copy formulas and real examples, Making writing your own copy simple, fast and affordable.
One neat revision round on every page, plus a final sweep once the whole site is built for mobile. Each is booked in as its own day, so your notes get actioned daily instead of all piling up for the end.
meet your designer
Hey, I’m Jess: Zoologist. Teacher. Designer. In that order, weirdly.
(Like you, I give a damn... occasionally to a rabbit-kidnapping degree. It's a long story. I'll tell you sometime.)
Before I even knew brand design was "a thing", I had an entire zoology degree, a teaching degree, and a job standing in front of classrooms teaching biology, physics and chemistry. Then a hard left into the thing I was so obviously made for all along.
I couldn't have asked for better training. The science gave me a research reflex I can't switch off, and I do mean literally... I spent way too long identifying ant species by the shape of their antennae (terrible time, 11/10 wouldn't recommend), so I can very proudly say I have an eye for SMALL details. The teacher in me physically cannot hand anything over without making sure you actually understand it. Put those together and you've got yourself a designer who digs deeper than she needs to, explains everything in all the necessary detail, and has very strong opinions about avoiding what's trending.
That took yearrrs. Making sure people can see it at a glance takes one focused week, and it isn't even your job. It's mine.
Your people are already out there looking for you. When they land on your site, I want the thought in their head to be "oh, FINALLY."
